Central Bucks Family YMCA's 50th Anniversary

From 2010 to 2011, I had the privilege to be a counselor at the Central Bucks Family YMCA's skate camp, and worked at the Teen Center and Skate Park. This was how I was introduced to the CBF YMCA family, and I have fond memories of the staff, the kids, the families, and seeing the Seekers Program have their weekly meetings and seeing the joy on all of their faces. When Pat Kelly and the Y reached out to me to make these videos for their 50th Anniversary, I was thrilled at the opportunity to tell the Y's story. The following videos were created for the 50th Anniversary dinner, the proceeds of which directly benefited the programs depicted. The videos were directed by Pat Kelly, shot and edited by me, with project direction by Cheryl Brubaker, and featured original music written by Sean Kelly and performed by New Solution Entertainment.

Hayley + Jared

Hayley and Jared's wedding was incredibly fun to shoot! It was a relaxed day, with a lighthearted and goofy bridal party, and the church was just a short walk across the street from the venue, Tabora Farm and Orchard. Hayley wore her mother's vintage 70's dress for the ceremony, and later surprised Jared with her second light dress for the rest of the day. After an evening of celebration, Jared got on stage with the band and rocked out on bass.

Congratulations Hayley and Jared!

Pat and Sean Kelly cover 'Madness' by Muse

My good friends Pat and Sean Kelly of The Revere have become full-time wedding/event performers/DJs, and so they asked me to record a few videos of some of their amazing covers. Of course I jumped with glee at the opportunity to do this. Since I met them in 2006, their voices have never failed to make my heart pound in a way that no other musicians can. They are incredibly talented, wonderful people and I strongly recommend you hire them for your wedding or event!

Carrie & Mike's Engagement Photos

I had the privilege of doing engagement photos for my girlfriend's cousin, Carrie and her fiancee, Mike. We met up with them and took a few photos with their adorable dog, then they drove us to the beautiful lighthouse at Turkey Point, in Maryland. Congratulations, guys!

Revamped website!

I just spent the entire day cleaning up, rearranging, revising and adding content to this website! (Including recutting several samples on this site, and adding a full list of my equipment under the about/contact page!) As you can see, Sky Orphan now has a blog which will be updated with new samples and clips from my newest work! Take a look around :)

"Caught" by Jessi Lee Ross music video

I recently had the honor of collaborating with budding indie musical artist Jessi Lee Ross on the music video for her song "Caught," which we recorded at my home with cellist Stephen Zalalas, and shot in Allentown, PA with help of her friends Billy and Lauren.

This shoot was a miracle that we couldn't have planned - we met up at a diner and right as we were about to leave it started to hail! We couldn't believe it and thought we might have been out of luck and would have to reschedule. However, the downpour lifted and we thought we would go try to see what we could get. We got everything together and found the spot we were looking for and despite the sun being out in full form it started hailing again. Lauren and Billy bravely pushed forward and we shot this emotional scene in the middle of a sunny hailstorm. In case you are wondering, yes, there was a rainbow, however all of my equipment was getting wet and Jessi was struggling to hold an umbrella together of my camera, so I didn't get a good shot of it in time.

Despite the inclement weather, it made for gorgeous footage and we ended up getting everything we needed in that one afternoon. Please enjoy this beautifully written and gut-wrenchingly emotional song, and share if you like it!
